CALYX has been founded by Roland Goeman in 2004. Roland Goeman has a background in electronics with a great interest in Audio & Video. He travelled and worked around the globe and in different cultures (Asia, Africa, US and Europe). His first encounter with IT was in 1993 when his former company became a Digital dealer. Later on, diversifying, this company imported new, innovative hard- & software products & accessories for the musical industry from the US. This resulted in multiple journeys on the US West coast, during which he learned the American spirit. During more than 15 years, Roland focused on ICT Systems Administration, assimilating several technologies from Desktop PC’s and Windows Server, Networking Administration, Systems Management software, Back-up & restore, Disaster Recovery Procedures, Computer Room technologies, WiFi implementations & Administration, Audio-visual telecommunications, remote control systems, PBX systems, Office Automation solutions. Out from this experience CALYX is well-positioned to offer its customers on the one hand a single point of contact approach regarding ICT equipment and services and on the other hand new innovative technologies which can be implemented in vertical markets. CALYX is in full expansion and is gaining the confidence of several large players in the Belgian market and even abroad. We are also expanding our offerings, together with our Partners and Suppliers to offer you the best and most innovative products in which we fully believe they will make the difference. In the daily business management Roland is assisted by Filip Simoens as business development manager. As a civil engineer Filip has a solid background in business development within different national and international ICT companies as well as in business unit management. |
